What do i need for my online consultations?

Ensure that you are in a conducive environment for Teleconsultations. Have your permissions enabled for Microphone, Camera and have stable connection.


Can anyone raise a online consult?

Health is accessible for all. We welcome everyone from foreign workers, locals to seek our consults.

For patients under 16, please have an accompanying adult present.


Is RapiDr a legitimate healthcare provider?

RapiDr is regulated under Ministry of Health Singapore’s (MOH) Healthcare Services Act (HCSA). In addition, RapiDr’s practices comply with National Telemedicine Guidelines (NTG) and SMC Ethical Code and Ethical Guidelines (ECEG). Our patients' data and medical records are also compliant with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). All our providers constantly undergo a stringent screening and vetting process by RapiDr.

Medical Certificates

What is a Medical Certificate (MC)?

A Medical Certificate (MC) is in Singapore, equivalent to taking Sick Leave or that you submit to account for your absence from School or your place of work. You can only obtain an MC from a Singapore Medical Council (SMC) registered doctor. The doctor will issue an MC when the doctor based on their assessment on your condition. MCs are given on a case-by-case condition.

If you are deemed to be eligible for an MC for recovery by our RapiDrs, you will receive it instantly in the app once your consult is completed, similar to a physical clinic.


Are digital MCs eligible in my place of work?

Employers are obligated to accept MCs from registered clinics. Please refer to any Ministry of Manpower guidelines and references here.

For NSFs, You can select “others” on ESS and enter “Rapidr” under comments


Do MC validities expire?

MCs do not expire. You can retrieve your MCs from us under your “History” tab in our RapiDr app.

Are foreign workers, working and residing in Singapore eligible for MCs?

Can I have my diagnosis shown or removed on my MC? Who has access to my MC?

For confidentiality purposes, we do not reveal any information unless provided with consent from the patients. Only you have access to your MC. You may request for your doctor to add your diagnosis onto the MC.

How do i prove my MCs are real?

We deploy an authenticator service to ensure that all our MCs and Memos remain tamper proof. Click here to verify your MCs

I have been given a shorter MC than requested. Will I be refunded?

MCs are dispensed at a Doctor’s discretion. For safety reasons, you can raise another consult to ensure that you are on the right track to recovery.

RapiDr takes price transparency very seriously. Our system does not allow the doctor to make additional consultation charges, even if you request for a medical prescription, memo or extra advice.

Medical Memos

What are Medical Memos?

Medical Memos are brief notes written by RapiDrs to summarise and communicate patient diagnosis to other doctors and healthcare practitioners.
All Medical Memos from RapiDr are eligible for follow-up with other healthcare practitioners.


Does RapiDr Charge for a Medical Memo?

RapiDr does not charge extra for a memo.


What can I use my Medical Memo for?

Depending on the diagnosis and condition. Medical Memos can be used for variety of purposes. For all RapiDr memos, patients can receive a preferential rate for follow-up consultations with our RapiDr partners.

Are your doctors qualified

Our practicing medical doctors hold full registration with the Ministry of Health (MOH) and Singapore Medical Council (SMC).

Our doctors constantly undergo a stringent screening and vetting process by our clinical governance team comprising senior doctors. Many of our doctors are also Singapore board-accredited family physicians who are trained to handle more complex cases, all brought to you at no extra charge.


Can I choose my preferred doctor?

Can I choose my specialist doctor?

Should you require a specialist review, you will be provided with a referral memo to a specialist. You may then proceed to make an appointment with your preferred medical provider.


Who can see a doctor on rapidr?

Can anyone see a doctor on RapiDr?

Anyone interested in their health and wellness can raise a consult through the RapiDr mobile app. We are strictly non-discriminatory and takes service standards extremely seriously.

For our general practitioner service, anyone with non-urgent conditions is suitable. However, those below 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent / guardian during the video consultation.


Can I request for a consult from Malaysia or anywhere else in the world outside of Singapore?

You can use this service from anywhere in the world. However, please note that any medical certificates (MC) will be issued under our service based in Singapore. The consultation will primarily provide a medical opinion, and billing will be processed in Singapore Dollars (SGD). Medication deliveries are only possible within Singapore
