What is a Medical Certificate (MC)?
Medical certificate (MCs) is issued by doctors as evidence to certify that the said patient is unfit for work for a specified period of time due to medical condition.
Can the doctor(s) at RapiDr issue a Medical Certificate (MC)?
After a sound assessment of your condition from the teleconsultation, our doctors can issue you a Digital Medical Certificate (MCs).
Can I request for a paper MC?
A Digital Medical Certificate (MC) is the electronic version of a traditional paper and ink medical certificate (MC). A digital MC is a legitimate document and should be recognised. As such, a paper MC is not required. You can proceed to print out the digiMC if you wish.
How do I retrieve my Digital MC?
After consultation, you can retrieve it through the Past Consultations page on your RapiDr mobile app. The file will be able to be exported as a PDF file.
The digital MC has no signature. How do I prove that it is real?
The doctor’s signature is not required because the digital MC is computer-generated and electronically tokenized. However if your employer feels the need to validate the MC, they can scan the QR code provided on the MC to verify its authenticity.
What should I do if my employer does not acknowledge my digital MC?
A Digital Medical Certificate (MC) is the electronic version of a traditional paper and ink medical certificate (MC). You can inform your employer to check out the FAQ for employers. You may need to reach out to the Ministry of Manpower should you be denied medical leave.
When will I receive my MC?
Your doctor should not require more than 10 minutes to complete your medical documents. If you do not receive your MC within 10 minutes, please go to Past Consultation tab on your RapiDr app to check the status of your consultation. If the documents are not generated, you may reach out to us on WhatsApp at +65 88013277.
Will my digital mc expire?
No, the link will not expire. Your Employers or human resource department can access it anytime for review in future.
Can I backdate my Medical Certificate (MC)?
The date of issue of the MC and the dates for which the patient is certified unfit for work / duty must be clearly and accurately indicated on the MC. In normal circumstances, MC(s) cannot be backdated.
I have been given a shorter MC than requested. Will I be refunded?
MCs are granted (or not) at the doctor’s discretion and should not be disputed. However, if your doctor has agreed to grant you a certain number of days that is not reflected accurately, please contact us on WhatsApp at +65 88013277 and we will be happy to assist immediately.
The details on the Digital MC are wrong, what should I do?
Please kindly amend the details using the “Edit basic information” function on your RapiDr app.
Can Digital MC be used for insurance claims?
The Digital MC issued by RapiDr is as real as a traditional MC and is recognised by the respective insurers.

Can I have my diagnosis shown or removed on my MC?
Doctors at RapiDr respect your confidentiality and your diagnosis will not be reflected unless you choose so. For the same reason, the MC will be given directly to you and your consent will be sought if your employers contact us regarding your medical condition.

Are foreign workers, working and residing in Singapore eligible to receive DigiMC?
Yes.
Can my employer or other people access my digital MC without my consent?
Your Digital MC will only be sent to you via your RapiDr app. You may choose to forward it to your employer or relevant parties. Alternatively, you may visit "My Past Consultation" to download the Digital MC at your own convenience. External parties will not be able to view your Digital MC otherwise.
